there is also free will. Subconsiously u can choose disaster for yourself. Which is not given by God. And there is ofcourse karma.

So all of those babies born into famine, and destined to live just a few days filled with pain and suffering, brought it on themselves. I get it.

...and then there is the suffering caused by the unjust actions of psychopaths who violate the rights of others. Don't forget those.

that falls into the category of subconscious choice. Being a victim of whatever is a choice/lesson. In a way it can be seen as a play. A victim of a murderer has chosen to be a victim on a higher level. Im not completely sure but i believe thats how it goes.

:) lol Subconscious ways..... work in a very subconscious way :p Its hidden in the dark. The murderer creates its own hell. Thats his punishment. Or hers...

The chosen lifes are individual. It doesnt mean we cant create a better world for them.

In addition. There can also be signs before something bad is gonna happen. The signs become bigger the closer the danger comes. They come with ignoring intuition.
