The spice of life

Where does one find the spice of life? Many people believe it lies within. Many people actually believe that they ARE the spice of life itself. I'm not so sure. It is also true that many people look outwards for the spice of life. Or look to God for it.

I do not think it is obvious that I AM the spice of life. God maybe but not the "I". Personally I look to culture, women, people, nature, Christ & God for the spice of life. I do not look within. I feel fulfilled.

I think the "I" is too insubstantial to fulfill ones desire. Particularly over a long period of time. Remember reality is eternal. Are you planning on being self realised for eternity?

Life itself is the spice. It holds it's own colours and flavours. I am the 'Spice of life' .

This is what I found about the spice of life: To be that which makes life interesting, exciting, enjoyable, or worthwhile.

This idea that we should look within ourselves is an idea from the new age movement.Behind this idea we can find its true message: You don't need God, within yourself are all the answers, you are your own God, you are God, you are life, you are love and so on; You know what's really funny? The main promoters of these ides from the new age movement are either the leaders of a ponzi scheme either super popular - using their popularity to promote immorality either deceived.

If your only focus is to make your life interesting, exciting, enjoyable or worthwhile, then you should know that everything is in vain.. You can have your life interesting, exciting, enjoyable or worthwhile, but put God first, not your self.

The spice of life is whatever makes life interesting, variety and such.

On the other hand, the deeper a person goes "into" the interiority of the spirit the more alive becomes the divine lights within.

Jesus likened it to the pearl of great price.

The world offers us all kinds of succulent experiences and like any other experience in life will become boring if you give it enough time. Is it not more detrimental to "you" if you ignore the indwelling spirit? And that indwelling spirit comes from the source, these days I simply like to call it the Great Spirit.

But divine experiences can lead one deeper and deeper into the marvels of the interior lights that never become boring but rather revealing.

Bring forth the light within and all other lights in the world will take their proper place.

Am I God! I doubt it, It's my sense that I have a soul, it was created by God, and one day I will return there with a renewed "enlightened" spirit.

Do you mean the life force? There are various ways of interpreting that sentence.

Selflessly helping others. At least attempt to.

That's where I find most meaning.
