Eat more quality food plus lift weights several times per week.
When I was younger I had a very fast metabolism too and had the same problem
Then I became a competitive power-lifter and had to eat at least 30 calories per pound of body weight to gain weight.
And of those 30 calories per pound of body weight.....I needed about 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight...
1 gram of protein is 4 calories.
1 gram of carbs is 4 calories.
1 gram of fat is 9 calories.
So lets say you weight 150 lbs and are lifting heavy in the gym to build muscle....that's 150 X 30.....you'll at least 4,500 calories per day with
at least 150 grams of protein @ 4 calories per gram......that's 600 calories or more from protein........about 15 to 20% calories from protein......the rest healthy carbs and healthy fats.
This worked for me but of course you will have to experiment with it for yourself.
