The 13th Zodiac sign, Ophiuchus. Nov, 30th - Dec, 17th. A fire sign.

Anyone else hear of this?

it's an old, obscure opinion that is disregarded by everyone except a curious few. I would highly advise ignoring this. There are 12 zodiac signs, no more and no less.

I think you're afraid, that's what it is. You're afraid of the 13th Zodiac sign. Or maybe its the number thirteen that strikes fear in you. j/k

Really, i don't know whether its true or not. I just put that out there. Though for those deeply into astrology, i wouldn't expect them to be open to a vastly different change like that if it were true. The ones with deep beliefs are the most resistant to change.

I'm definitely open to change, but when it comes to a system of prediction that was relied on for thousands of years across dozens of different cultures, vs the opinion of some guy in the '70s, I choose thousands of years of tradition.

Which is different from accepting the modern 'outer' planets... the outer planets weren't discovered until the 20th century and when they were discovered, astrologers the world over were very excited and accepting. Ophiuchus is a constellation that was known from at least the 3rd century but probably longer and the fact that it wasn't included at any point before the 20th century, to me, means a lot.

as if there ain't no disagreements in the traditional astrology (tropical, sidereal was enough to shake my trust) and even many many other astrological traditions. I gues they're all true
