It's exactly the same as all other Religions, it has it's good points and also it's bad points as they all do.

I think the words of God and the teaching of Christ is undeniably good.
Unfortunate, people stepping forward in the name of Christianity has profaned his name and adulterated his teachings. We live in a day and age where "Christianity" is anything from Christ-like. When you have multimillionaire pastors jetting around the world in luxury and living in grandiose mansions, you know you have a problem. The problem is the messenger, and not the message.

I agree with you.... There is this pastor who already had 3 or 4 airplanes but he needed one more, you know, the most modern one, and he received all the money from those who follow him, ( hence this, they follow him ) while in the meantime there are children who starve to death.
These thieves are not human beings, they are greedy monsters.

Since Christianity is the religion closest to home we actively dislike it and look for something better. If we were an eastern based forum we might be rebelling against other things.

Hmmm, this reply... very well informed!

I wrote a letter to a pastor I used to like...he wanted to build a
bigger church with the money they had.
I said..."While you have parishioners deciding on food or heat?
Your going to use the money donated for a bigger church?
Why don't you have 3 services...and hire another pastor - you do 2.
Give $1000 to poor families in the Winter for heat and warmer coats!"
It's an issue for me, too, my friend...then they wanted newer brass chimes...I wrote him then, too.
He didn't build the church ---moved to a bigger building...maybe others commented?

IS CHRISTIANITY THE WORST RELIGION?
|
That depends...
The "worst religion" is the religion that publicly or secretly arrogates its exclusive superiority over other spiritual paths.
If some Christians, so-called followers of the Christ, or some branches of Christianity fit that description then it applies accordingly.

You are really doing something about this, that's nice of you!! Someone must stand up!
The thing is that it's very hard to "stand up" because some are so indoctrinated that they will react in a very negative way, this is what happened to Christ, He stood for what's truly right and good and look what happened. If you raise your voice for truth and goodness, then there will be countless who would do anything to shut you down.

I have NO problem with "Christianity, because Jesus was one who started the Christian organization. through his faithful follower, Peter. it's the false teachings and beliefs, that's NOT scriptural based. or that's not taught with accurate knowledge, ( Pro. 1:28-31 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me. For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD. They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices), that get's me. peace
