How to contact Jesus Christ?

Hi guys, I am not Christian but I believe in Jesus Christ, and I believe in the Bible, I would love to be able to contact Jesus Christ, and have a relationship with him.

Can any of you put me in the right direction of how to do this? I would really love to be able to do this

Peace and love, Emily Anne x

You could try praying, and just tell him what's up, that you'd like to have a relationship with him, and whatever else you want. When I was going through a horrific time in my life I did that very thing and did get an answer from Christ, though it was more like the Christ that lives inside me, taking the form of Jesus. I went to Church for a while, as I was so blown away by my experience, but decided it wasn't for me.

I'm now trying to work out my place in everything, but the point of me posting this was to let you know that prayer works, and I recommend trying it. It's obviously not my place to tell you what to believe and how you should live, and trust me, that is NOT my intention in saying this, but I would encourage you to explore other ancient texts and sources, not just the Bible, as I feel that although it does contain truths, it is not the one and only, ultimate, infallible word of God.

Sorry if I rambled there, I'm sure other people will chime in here.

Best of luck to you, Emilyanne-X

:)

Hi thank you for your reply! I have thought about praying, on a regular basis, so I' think I will put that into action! i think it must be a special thing to haw a relationship with Jesus Christ, and also having someone so powerful there in tough times.
Thanks again!

Forget about the man Jesus, go strait to the Christ within you, for this is what Jesus pointed to, he said I can bo nothing of myself, he is not God, he declared God or the father if you want to use that word, you need to find your true inner Self the Christ, its the only way, that is if you want to be a true so called Christian.

When I first began doing healing, I prayed to God to send healing through me to the people I wished to be healed. One night, after several weeks of this, I felt as if I were rising up. I thought, "Now THIS has never happened before."

I heard the words, "Now this is what I'm talking about" and then I could see the figure before me. I saw Jesus just as he appears in the Bible. During the vision, I could see energy going from me into him and then from him back into me.

What I thought was interesting is that I was praying to God... and yet Jesus answered and even more interesting is the fact that I do not attend church.

After my experience, I figured I could go see Jesus whenever. I visualized myself rising up to meet him in heaven which seems to be only about 12 feet off the ground. Three years later, I still visit him in person each night. I encourage others to have a "personal" relationship with Jesus. It's pretty amazing. You can ask him anything and he will answer. At first, I was filled with questions... big ones. After the first three... I didn't need answers anymore. I was ready to trust that he had it all covered.

You might try prayer and visualizing meeting him wherever makes sense to you. It could be heaven, or a walk in the garden of Eden or at a table at a cafe. Just tell him the news of your day and your thoughts and fears and feelings. You might be surprised at what he tells you.

There is a really nice little book "Jesus Calling" written by Sarah Young. I think you might enjoy it. You can check it out on Amazon.

Really like this answer..... an elegant-simple solution.

Or ask him to appear in whatever form best suits you.

But ask-look within your heart rather than your mind.
A lovely thread.

I'm not a Christian but there was a time when I felt very close to Jesus and what he stood for.....I understood....heart to heart.

Simply put - I was in my teens, homeless, barefoot and very deeply in love.....I had nothing but I had everything.

I am not advocating this as a way of being in touch with Jesus; just relating what it took for me to be in touch with him (without meaning to).

I would say having love for everyone (if you can possibly muster it up - a tall order I know) would be pretty much getting close to contacting Jesus.....and being humble feels like a key component too. He also had a penchant for the underdog...so maybe, if you're a socialist, this would be a headstart too!

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: (Matt 7:7, KJV)

Jesus said, "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained. Split a piece of wood; I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find me there." (Gospel of Thomas 77)

Jesus was taking about his inner SELF the Christ, when he said those words, the same inner Christ that we all are connected to.

Jesus wasnt/isnt for any one group or another, love is love regardless whether you are an underdog or a high flyer......our souls are equal and worthy of Divine love equally....as humans we want to think that the Divine (Jesus included) will favour one group and not another, this is not so....it is a purely flesh and blood notion.....ultimately if there is any true judgement it will be given out after we pass back home.....how we conduct ourselves whilst alive will be in the telling.....many blessings xx

Emily....Jesus and all the Divine can be found within......ask and listen.....you are always heard, even if you think you aren't....replies come with feelings, sensations, inner voice......messages can be received in many ways....a line in a book or magazine.....an email with a message sent, music.....so many ways....sometimes it will be a bit of a shock when you are reading, watching or listening and the message is acknowledged by you.....its kind of like a WOW! moment......many blessings to you xx
