Advice:Using the LOA to turn my life around
Hi people,
I am new here, so if this is in the wrong place , or some one delt with this already please forgive me.
I am fascinated by the Law of Attraction. I would really love to apply it to my life. I always feel as though there is this big block in my way no matter how I try to get out of it. May be it is me, I don't know. I find myself constantly questioning why am I here, what is my purpose. There are circumstances beyond my control that prevents me from doing what "normal" people at my age would be doing.
Every time I try to make something happen the best I could it always goes awry, and I end up feeling more depressed and disillusioned than before. I do believe in a higher power, it's just I can't help but feel like I really don't belong here.
I know it is heavy, sorry about that, but I am trying to get help and I am hoping to get some sort of answer.
Thanks for reading.
Love and blessings
Vinnie

The road you wish to be on is the one that leads to your inner wisdom.
Consider yourself on that road and listen to your guidance.
I hope my thoughts on this will be helpful.

Hi and welcome here,
My input is always read every word that
Abraham-Hicks says and follow it to a tee.
Have patience, confidence, never any doubt
And watch everything unfold.
As Jesus said, Believe it has already been done...bec it has and
Will take a little time to manifest on the physical, that's all.
Life is simple..believe and receive...since we are extentions of the Creator
We can be and do and have anything we want.
This is my personal experience...
Miss Hepburn

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

This is so nice!
For me, I even go as far as writing a letter to myself "from the future" Thanking myself for all the patience I have had, and how well everything is going. How everything is "Just as amazing, if not better than we imagined it would be." Or maybe a journal entry "from the future" about how well my life is, and how much happier I am.
This has helped me greatly. If I believe what I wish to feel in my life is already happening, then it is so.

Thank you Thank you Thank you. Ask and It Is Given is right! I too, am reading "Ask and It Is Given" by Abraham-Hicks. I started to waver today after 2 days of seeing great changes in my world... I was going to read the responses to this earlier, but I choose to sit and "gather" myself, vibrating in harmony with The Source :) It helped tremendously.
So my advice to you Vinnie, Is don't give up. Always keep a positive outlook, and when you feel like things are falling apart - Stop what you are doing and take a moment to centre yourself! :)

That's such a great idea! It makes me feel happier just thinking about doing it!

Hi Vinnie. I'm new here as well. I totally get where you are coming from. I've felt like that many times before. I used to think that I surely should be doing something more important than I was doing in regards to helping people. I used to feel that everything I did was a waste of time because it benefited no one. Or so I thought.
The way I dealt with it was to start meditating. To this day, I'm not very good at it and not consistent but it gives me comfort to know that I am at least trying to connect with a higher being that can give me guidance. If I can manage to get ten minutes to myself and meditate, I feel much better.
Eventually, you will come to recognize that you are in the exact place you should be and you will get answers simply by asking the questions.
I used to think I should hear a voice in my head that would tell me what I should be doing but it doesn't work that way. Not for me, at least. I find myself learning to recognize the opportunities I have to do something good. And I believe that is all down to the fact that I asked.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Guys
Thanks Every one for such wonderful replies. Sorry for not being around for a couple of days , but I started looking at some of Abraham Videos, and I am sure you all know how you can't just look at one. And what Luck would have it a freind of mine was visited me recently and left some of her books with me , I probably went through her books a few times, but suddenly one of Ester's books "Money, and the Law Of Attraction" caught my eye.
I've been reading it and I must say I got lost in it. I feel more grounded than I did when I joined this forum and I am so happy I did.
Love and blessings.
Vinnie
