music & awakening

Anyone else feel like music sounds different after awakening? Like not as enjoyable? I asked this question on another subforum but since I identify as a twin flame undergoing ascension maybe someone else has also experienced this?

Is it all music or just the music you used to listen to? I have noticed that certain songs that I used to love I no longer want to hear because they are low vibration. Whereas, I used to pick my music based on what type of music it was, I now pick my music based on the vibration of the music. I also noticed that a lot of "popular" music I find annoying because of the message in which it may glorify the material world or I just don't like the message.

yeah I know what you mean. I feel the same way about the material world messages. But all music just doesn't sound as good. Maybe its specific to me. Maybe whatever used to drive me to enjoy music in the past is done for now that I am undergoing ascension.

I've had a little bit of the opposite feeling when it comes to music and twin flame subjects. There are few certain peculiar songs that have helped me discover that I even have a twin flame. Whenever I play a certain few songs, particular of earlier genres, I sense my twin flame is "there". It is almost as if the song opens up a transparency between dimensions.

I’ve always enjoyed music, although following my ‘awakening’ music has actually become so much more intimate as I see the depth and beauty in the songs and lyrics that resonate with me.

Like its related to the time you listen to it or do you mean what pandora chooses to play for you?

For example, say the same song played at 10am and 10pm. Does it have different effects?

I have heard quiet a few songs lately that have strangely specific lyrics. One song mentioned something about me that my twin told me he liked (something very specific and not obvious), then in the next verse the song actually said my middle name (my twin loved my middle name when he found out what it is). The song kept saying "I'm never going to get over you" or something to that effect.
So yeah, stuff like that and multiple songs. And these are not songs that I'm picking to listen to, just random stuff from the radio. Stations I don't even necessarily like, but I can't always listen to what I want when my kids are in the car.

The tuning of modern day music isn't really good for our cells' vibration. If you go for Solfegio you're good.
There are people who make modern Solfeggio based/tuned music. Some to be found free on SoundCloud to listen to.

As for things changing... not really. I always go for what I feel like, so tuned in to my intuition. Since end of 2015 I stopped listening to the news, as that itself lowers your vibration each time it's on. Even when you're not actively listening you pick up the odd word here and there. And it's always negative.
This meant that I ended up not listening to the radio anymore, not much anyways, as they broadcast news 2x an hour. I got fed up with turning the sound off each time, so now I often even forget to get some music going.

I must say that my life has gotten far more peaceful and relaxed. Mostly because of not hearing the news anymore. People ask me "But then you don't know XYZ?!?!" Yes, so what? Does the war in XYZ stop when I listen to the news? Nope. Do terrorists stop their attacks when I listen to the news? Nope.
It just lowers your vibration tremendously and keeps you in a vibe of fear, maybe even anger.
The only way to change things in the world is to tap into the collective field of love, not by adding to the unfortunately still huge collective field of fear and anger.

Does that have to do with my awakening? In a way. But my awakening had nothing to do with my TF.
I had my awakening around 2004-2005.
The news & not listening to music things started when I began listening to Abraham Hicks in October 2015. That caused my vibration to sky-rocket like you wouldn't believe within 1-2 months! I listened to 7, 9, 13 hr workshops on YouTube for the entire duration of these workshops. Day in day out for some 4 months on end. Amazing results!
