selenite

Sorry if this is a silly question. I have a 3 inch selenite spire. I'm using it to charge a rose quartz heart that is wider than the spire. Does it matter that only part of the quartz is touching the spire? It still gets charged, right?

Sure. I think putting the selenite on top of the rose quartz also does the same thing

It's about energy fields, so touching doesn't matter but proximity does.

i use selenite for charging all crystals, but the selenite bed was more than 3kg.
sometimes i just picked a selenite stuck it to the rose piece and revolve around the stone.
the clearing energy is felt most times like a churning in heart chakra.
when i no more feel the clearing i use it for meditation.
