The science of laziness
Hey guys, what do you think about it? Is it "the devil's" job to intensify the urge to not do stuff and to be useless to ourselves? Laziness has been stopping me from doing things i need to do and it doesn't stop there. I've been neglecting almost every activity I feel attracted to. Either I stop doing something soon after I've just started or I simply cannot find the energy to start.
I am sorry if that's not the right section for my questions :)

Hi Hirae,
I don't think laziness has anything to do with " the devil " should one choose to believe one exists. I believe laziness is a choice, or a habit one falls into when one doesn't want to do things, an excuse if you will ..... you can choose ....to get it together and make a change in your life and get things done.
Best wishes to you on making the change, and having a great 2016 !!
YOU can do it !

You are welcome Hirae, don't be so hard on yourself though.... forgive and forget, lol and begin new, it's a new year filled with NEW possibilities and NEW opportunities !!
I don't believe there is one person, who hasn't had moments of laziness, for one reason or another.... maybe yours just lasted longer than some. The good thing is that you are realizing this and wanting to do something about it.
Sometimes a bit of laziness is good, it is like taking a break/ a rest from the sometimes stressful world we live in.

The idle is a playground, everything is in mind and immaterial. The important thing is to keep your mind moving, if you can't move your body! haha. (Keep the mind moving, there are allot of zombies out their who move allot but nothing is really going on inside their head!)...
Draw, write, visualize, read.
This world we are living in (3rd Dimension) is all about course and effect (Apparently).
Thought + emotion + external Action = result. The reason why we cherish this model of life so much, is because we think the world is completely solid and needs hammering into submission!
But i think people are learning this model of reality, or at-least trying to.
Thought + emotion = result.
So if you are not kinetically motivated to move! haha at-least visualize yourself doing things, and then there is more of a change that you will one day wake up and! do whatever you want to do!
Prepare yourself to move your body....
And enjoy the challenge.

I like this line " So if you are not kinetically motivated to move! haha at-least visualize yourself doing things, and then there is more of a change that you will one day wake up and! do whatever you want to do! "

I think laziness is not a bad thing in the essence of it. It just shows that your current activity is not what you should do.

Sometimes i want to be lazy and have a rest: 2 jobs, a child and no enough time to rest.
