Is consciousness a " Spirit?"
As we look out from our eyes, it seems as if our consciousness exist " Behind our eyes", because we are peering out. So naturally one may assume that because the brain is in the head, that the head is then the center of consciousness. And as we introspect, that consciousness is then inside of the head? But is there a physical organ that we call " The consciousness organ?" Which would make consciousness physical. Yet, there is nothing inside our heads besides flesh and bones, and consciousness seems to me, to be much more than that; its more like " A Spirit that is in humans." Its just inside the body as a whole , and we just focus on the brain.
Even science has grappled with this. And its worth examination.

In a such a view of spirit inside would you see spirit in all things having body besides humans. Is spirit always self aware then.

Well in my view, I think spirit is more diverse than we fully know; I think there is a " Spirit of life", which is in everything alive, each of those spirits are just different according to the species; I think all humans have at least two spirits inside of them, the spirit of life, and the spirit of consciousness- or self awareness. I think some spirits are more advanced than others, the spirit in animals not as advanced as the spirits in humans, the spirit in animals, is more advanced than that in insects.

Well just what is a Spirit? Well like a ghost, its invisible ; intangible ; an essence. A life force that I do not think is human!

I think all things are spirit, even inanimate objects because although it seems as if we are looking out of our body into the external world, if the same universal spirit exists in everything then there is no external or internal world, it's a a lot like emptiness. Wherever or not somthing seems external or internal depends on the perception of the being creating the conclusion. It seems that it's a matter of relativity, or you could say the relativity of matter ;)

Consciousness is very unexplainable by science. They still can't explain it's origin or why it exists. If you ask me it's like trying to describe if God exists.
Consciousness is Spirit. We are all individual consciousnesses, or individual energies experiencing a physical realm.
Basically the collective, connective, unified Spirit of us all, of all our souls is the Holy Spirit in the Christian faith. In Taoism it is the "interconnectedness of all Life", in Buddhism it is the "universal Buddha-nature",
The Holy Spirit moves us to do good, kindness, and understanding even if the Spirit is unconscious. The "descent of the Holy Spirit" of Pentecost is always pictured in paintings with the apostles and Mary looking up and the tongues of fire above their head. But if you look at a painting of St. Francis of Assisi, he is holding the Dove (spirit) down to the Earth. Why? Because the Spirit is either conscious or unconscious within us. Carl Jung talked about a collective unconscious.
If the Spirit is unconscious in us, it must descend and awaken us. Descends from a higher dimension in ourselves. Remember only a part of us is experiencing the physical world and it is our everyday waking self. That is only 10% of who we are. The other 90 % is still in Spirit and it's dimensions.
St. Francis didn't have to wait for the Spirit to "descend" to "awaken". Instead Francis was awakened and could awaken others and give others "the Spirit" as did Jesus.
The Holy Spirit is God's consciousness which is present now and is the present moment. That is why the "presence of God" is experienced Now in the Biblical sense. It refers to the present moment. Jesus spoke from the Spirit, from this Consciousness when asked questions and when he taught. He always took a "moment" to reflect and withdraw himself and wait for the correct answer.

I think Consciousness is indeed Spirit; I don't view it as anything physical at all, but I do think our physical body carries it around. And I think the brain is connected to it, bit I think the whole body is connected to it, or it connected to the body; ???

Consciousness, one way of putting it...
Consciousness is Siva
There is nothing that Siva is not
Spirit, the Ishwara, the I that is us collectively, emanating out of Pure Consciousness, Pure Being

Consciousness is the more defined eye, it sees more than the physical eye.

As per the HIndu perspective, this consciousness is that which is the presence of God within you.
God is infinite consciousness, with energy and matter being the manifestations of this consciousness in varying forms.
The ancient Rig Veda states, " Prajñānam Brahma " ( God is consciousness).
