Bad driver
I was driving at night and was cut off by another driver as i made a left turn, i was stuck driving on the wrong side of the road for a short while until i was able to merge back into the right lane. I followed the guy who cut me off (because i was also going that way) until he caused an accident (not sure if he crashed, or caused someone else to crash). I pulled over and helped pull the driver out of the wrecked vehicle now on fire. It spread or exploded to catch my vehicle also on fire, which eventually transformed into my furniture. I then tried to pull some things out of the fire
Is this a sign not to help others in my situation?

no, i don't think so. it has a feeling to it as if the dream was explaining your
current life situation. it's as if unspecified forces at work in the world have
brought inconvenience to you (your alertness prevented damage), and that
your compassionate nature has allowed it (the inconvenience) to spread into
your home life. it's probably a good thing actually; it's clearing out some old
energies that were laying around and it'll make space for something better
to come along afterwards.

it means the argument between left & right in politics is going to destroy your happy home if you take sides. So try to stay neutral.

fire is an energy of transformation. although typically considered as purely
destructive, it can provide the energy for movement (as with steam engines).
it could be that the fire which engulfed your car and furniture was imbuing
them with locomotive energy; an energy of change working for you.
i figure that the "bad driver" was an aspect of yourself -- something you've
placed outside of your conscious control... something like "social forces".
your compassion wasn't dependent on knowing the identity of the injured
driver, whether he'd been the cause of the accident or an 'innocent victim',
which is saying you've invested your care into the whole of society. this is
also an acceptance of yourself as being a/the cause for the dynamics in play
(i believe). i don't see the dream as speaking to a need to withdraw from
interactions, but as a recognition that you're involved with all that transpires,
and that profound transformations are coming to you [for your use], through
what seems like 'accidental' causes involving the actions of others.
