Edit function only lasts for a short while (about 10-20 mins) I think once you have posted.

You have up to about 5 hours after you post something to edit it. You can not delete a post after it has been made. Only a member of staff can do that.

fayette, I always use the Go Advanced button, this gives you more options and you can see how it is going to look on the board before you actually post it.

Editing...

Like others contributing to this topic, I go to extremes to ensure that my contributions suitably represent my thoughts and ideas, before I press the submit button...

Once I consider it's complete in every way, I preview the post, to see exactly how the entire contribution will appear, when it's finally submitted...

Invariably, doing it that way, nine times out of ten, there's something that causes me concern... Even a punctuation mark, can 'stand out like a sore thumb' - to coin a phrase... lol...

Only then, do I press the submit button, always checking afterwards, that there are still no errors or displacements that need editing - whilst that facility is still available..

That's it in a walnut shell...

Robbie....
