Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

“It is the same in the case of the cinema. The screen is always there; the pictures come and go, but do not affect the screen. What does the screen care whether the pictures appear or disappear? The pictures depend upon the screen. But what use are they to it? The man who looks only at the pictures on the screen and not the screen itself, is troubled by the pains and pleasures that occur in the story. But the man who views the screen, realises that the images are all shadows and not something apart and distinct from the screen. So also with the world. It is all a shadow play,” said Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi

"Bliss is self which is always there and is not something which comes and goes.
That which comes and goes is the creation of mind and you should not worry about it."

Ok, that's it...after the last 2 quotes - I'm focusing on the screen and that is IT!

Ramana said to me...."The only spiritual life you need is not to react."

to be calm is the greatest asset in the world. It's the greatest siddhi, the greatest power you can have
If you can only learn to be calm you will solve every problem. This is something you must remember. When you are perfectly calm, time stops. There is no time, karma stops, samskaras stop. Everything becomes null and void. For when you are calm you are one with the entire energy of the universe and everything will go well with you.
To be calm means you are in control. You're not worried about the situation, the outcome. What is going to happen tomorrow. To be calm means everything is alright. There is nothing to worry about, nothing to fret over. This is also the meaning of the biblical saying, "Be still and know that I am God." To be calm is to be still.

Just before you wake up, before you start thinking, the I presents itself as I Am,
as pure Consciousness. Catch it then.

So remember this: If you tell yourself when you go to sleep "Tomorrow
morning as I open my eyes i am going to identify with my source, I Am,"
you will. Even for a second, it will change your life.

You're in your right place at the right time going through those experiences that are necessary for you at this time. There are no mistakes. Everything is in its right place. Never believe that there is something wrong in your life. You are where you're supposed to be. Going through those experiences that are necessary for you right now.

When you become angry at yourself because you don't like the experiences that you're going through you are hindering your growth. Rather be grateful, thankful, for every experience that you're going through. Even though it may appear to be terrible in your life. Be thankful for this experience. For the experience is not what you think it is in your finite mind. There is a greater purpose to it. All is well.

One way "not to react" shows spiritual skills is to do such a thing, not react, shows one has some detachment from mind or thought. The energy and attention is being withdrawn from there. Thought auto reacts to everything, so to not react really means to be in a state where one has withdrawn the awareness-or attention from the animal mind.
