Citizen of the Planet

I really love this Alanis Morissette song called Citizen of the Planet. In my mind, this song is about her spiritual growth, her higher self awakening, and possibly some sort of prediction of what's to come during ascension.

Anyone else know the song? I'll post the lyrics so you can read and tell me what your take is on it

she is in a new place after separating from the source, or maybe she is saying she has reconnected and is humbled in that way

I am a citizen of the planet
My president is kwan yin
My frontier is on an airplane
my prisons: homes for rehabilitating
now she is a citizen of a planet, the kwan yin could be translated to mean an enlightened being who is "Observing the Sounds (or Cries) of the World"
our prisons are our homes, and they are for rehabiliting the spirit

lol yes, I didn't know who She was until I researched the song a bit. Alanis is so spiritual herself, I love listening to her music because it's raw and it's her life. You can watch her spiritual growth through her music, it's an amazing thing.

I'm glad someone can relate to my love of finding the spirit's message in songs, though
