A really interesting link that I found...

Sorry if it's been posted before!

http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-...during-a-coma/

This is about a prominent neurosurgeon who also teaches at Havard university, and his own experience of the afterlife. A really interesting read. You can find a lot more if you just google his name, but this is just a very brief outline.

You would like Dannion Brinkley's book "Saved by the Light"

He also spent a good amount of time in a place he refers to as Heaven.

Awesome!

I recently read a book where another surgeon describes her spiritual experiences. It's called "To Heaven and Back" by Dr. Mary Neal, M.D.

Thanks for posting this Songbirds. My Dad rang me today to let me know about it...so I've ordered the book. Sounds like it should be an interesting read.

I'll have a look at that too, DeeinMich. I find it fascinating when someone has a spiritual experience who has a scientific viewpoint on life, and is unable to come to any conclusion about it other than that it's a spiritual experience!

No problem Squatchit. :)
