Little baskets/bags for trash
This dream from last night came after I and hubby had been arguing for two days. I was quite angry, and there were tears on both sides. In the end though it led to a better understanding on both sides. We are okay and calm now.
Then I dreamed:
We have put up six small baskets or bags (about the size of a cup) outside our house, hanging in the corner on the fence next to the middle gate. They are made of (news)paper or some other natural material/fiber and we put them there to sort different kinds of dry garbage (paper/wrappings/plastic etc), similar to the small bowl we have on the kitchen counter where we always put the used matches. We hang them in three rows of two.
Looks like we're sorting through things and throw them out?
The three rows of two intrigued me, any idea what this points to? Past relationships?

the three rows might correspond to past/present/future.
the pairs seem to show a couple relationship, specifically you and your hubby.
you've each had your own garbage to collect (and "process"?) through your
various pairings [now, and in other times]. you appear to be 'soulmates';
natural partners in life.

Airing out grievances and negative feelings it's good so resentments don't build. Glad to hear you sorted it out

Thank you both! I also felt it was a positive dream.
I don't know if we are soulmates, but it reminds me of what my husband once said: that when he saw me for the first time he knew he would marry me.
Nevertheless, very rocky relationship!

from what i understand, soulmate relationships are more about doing the
spiritual work that beings desire than about simply having happy times.
exploring various scenarios (with consenting partners helping) provides
an information base that higher self identities can draw from.

That's also what I understand (from what I read here and there).
But if I and my hubby are soulmates I really don't know. We are so ab-so-lute-ly opposites in everything, it's so frustrating sometimes (for both of us). Frustrating of course because I keep running into walls, expecting doors

there's probably a doorway there, you just need to find it.
slow down... you don't wanna "run" into a door either...
you'll wanna approach it calmly, turn the knob, and go through.
