I always regarded Adam as symbolic, which is another problem of course. I said there were human fossil remains in UK dated 24000 BC but the oldest proto-human remains in the UK are 500000 years old. Odd thing to say I know but I wish the Neanderthals had remained and flourished to current times. Would have been rather fine to have two human species co-existing.

do you think? We can't cope with different races, beliefs, sexual orientation or even dress size...
Although maybe with 2 species we would have learnt tolerance at an earlier stage.. although somehow I doubt it.....
