for me, it depends. For the most part, I have a very relaxed lifestyle with exception of my work which I'm in the process of correcting.
But if I work that day which is 3 days out of the week then my routine consists of:
waking up at 4:50am, getting dressed, leaving the house by 5:30am, driving to work for an hour, working for 12 hrs on a busy unit (I'm an RN), giving report and then getting back in my car by 8-8:30pm. From there, I call my SO and we talk all the way home which is usually around 9-9:30pm. Get inside, eat, shower, sleep.
If I'm off:
Wake up whenever (but usually before 9am) and get ready to drop my cousin (if it's between Monday-Friday) to school. Come home and do "nothing" (research actually. I'm a curious person.) on the comp or watch a movie. Lately it's been applying for graduate school but I completed all my applications for now. By 6pm, I'm back in the car to pick up my cousin and then I come back home, joke around with her for a few hours. At 9pm, I usually get a phone call from my SO and then that's it! lol That's my day.
I like it for the most part. The only thing I'd change is my work schedule. I'm interested in working scheduled days for 1-2 days a week and then working as needed so for the most part I'm working when I feel like it. I want a bit more flexibility and freedom to choose how I direct my time, resources, and energy.
