The mind will not go silent as long as there is a "I" living in is-ness. There is no "I"...only is-ness. Said another way - you are it, you don't live in it.

The inquiry of I or I am disbands the mind and takes the inquirer to being it's a direct route as I is the first to emanate from being

I must keep my desire to be in the Isness, as you say, all the time.
If my attention strays to this silly world too much, too long...I must

gently pick up the needle and place it carefully, intentionally back at the beginning, in the groove.
And we start again being aware of what I call Reality.

The Reality that nothing these eyes see is real.
There is no such thing as matter...only appearances.
The only thing that Is is the One, the Infinite One.

Ah, the Freedom.

Especially, now that we know quantum physics clearly has found
out we are 99.99999% empty space.

As quoted a little while back (roughly speaking) where there is the awareness of the lighters flame there I am .

There is the world / mind .

You can't be a little in or of it .. you either are or your not ..

You are either aware of the lighters flame or your not .

You are saying the Lighter's flame, are you not?
I have never heard it put that way. I like it.

Nis spoke about it in regards to the mind / world / I AM ..

I suppose he referred to it when he held his lighter in his hand in order to explain his thoughts .

What is apparent is that if you perceive the flame then I AM of this world / mind .

Peeps can entertain a mind that isn't cluttered and isn't contemplating life to various degrees,

What I find can be the stumbling block for some is that they can walk peacefully through a forrest without a thought in mind thinking (excuse the pun) that they are being mindless ..

To be aware of the forrest is likened to being aware of the lighters flame .

You either are or you are not .

Is-ness is being aware of this world / mind unless one's eye's are shut to it and one is aware of I AM that has shut their eyes to the world / mind but the mind is everywhere so to speak ... it is everywhere I am is ..

Hi Chanine - welcome to the forum.

It depends on what you are referring to by ‘mind’ - there are various definitions of what mind is and what it consists of. I suspect you mean it as a synonym for the thought-stream in the head.

This thought-stream is a byproduct of the organism’s capacity to use language and employ abstract and analytical thinking. The key is to simply see it for what it is in the happening of the moment - in this way, the happening of the moment (the is-ness) comes out on top - as it always was/is.
