Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Hi Miss Hepburn,

I do remember our thread about "There is no matter", there is only Spirit.

....yes! The Baird Spalding books have influenced my thinking for a long time. Am glad to have found a home of like-minded Spiritual Travelers in this Forum to share them with.

Ironically, Bashar might have put it another way concerning Spirit: "If you don't mind, It doesn't matter."

That sort of sums up the nature of the "I".....it is only really aware of itself. Kind of find it off-putting.

Hi Honza,

Just wanted you to see the full picture that Miss Hepburn and I were referring to concerning Spirit, (in the 1st reference). As referenced from the conversation she and I had, consider that the nature of Spirit is that it is aware of Itself as being you (us) and as being everything else It (there) is.

On this spiritual plane, Spirit has given Itself the opportunity to explore Itself in a unique environment that enables It (as us!) to pretend that It is NOT the One Spirit It has always been, by residing in a specialized environment that gives the undifferentiated Oneness of Spirit the appearance of being separated beings from one another.

In the 2nd and 3rd references, Bashar indicates:

“Circumstances do not M-A-T-T-E-R. Do not MATERIALIZE things. Only your state of being MATTERS. Brings energy into MATTER. Materializes things.”

Also, "All things are Spirit vibrating at different frequencies. Matter is solidified energy. Matter is Spirit energy vibrating at a slower frequency. Your body is solidified Spirit, crystallized Spirit. Your Spirit is not in your body. Your body is in your Spirit. As you raise your vibrations, you become more Spirit-like, moving closer towards fluid-like Spirit, thereby making your reality creation more malleable and easily changeable."

As such, we are Spiritual beings having a human experience (ala Tielhard de Chardin), not human beings having a spiritual experience. IMHO, the off-putting part is that the appearance of separation has become so culturally imprinted to the extent that we actually BELIEVE separation to be the Truth.

Hint: take a closer look at Miss Hepburn's signature from Lahiri Mahasaya:

"Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death
by riding daily in a balloon of divine perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones...
Meditate unceasingly, that you quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence"

~Lahiri Mahasaya, the Guru of Yogananda's Guru

What do you think the very last line about "as the Infinite Essence", actually means about Who We Really Are?

Love thy neighbor as thyself, because thy neighbor, as the Infinite Essence, is Thyself.

We are all One Spirit.

Kinda sums up the nature of "I" wouldn't you say? "Be not swayed by appearances", right?

But that's just my take (I'm still learning)....

Hope this gives you a more comprehensive picture.

Thumbs up Who Wants to be a less Complex Animal?

I sees fermions, bosons and any collection thereof in via microscopes, telescopes etc.

Those who dont see are blind.

Those who do not hear are deaf.

Those who are in denial and delude themselves are self evident in face of observed truths.

Whats left of a person in denial and deluding self? A walking talking zombie?

The I via ego acccess'es metaphysical-1, mind/intellect/concepts. Loose the access to the I/ego and human is more-likened to a less complex animals.

Who wants to be playtapus? A bacteria? A worm? A virus? A whale? A duck? A wolf? A bird? A bat?
