Dialogue Between My Head And And My Heart

I am so lonely, so frightened.
Lost. All alone. My heart is so broken.
I ache. And ache, Deep inside.
My heart whispers, you will be ok.
My head shouts; Leave her alone!
I sit in the darkness. My darkest hours. Without you. To hold me.
Succumbing to the pain. The loss
Tears stream down my face.

My heart whispers again; He still loves you.
My head screams; How do you know?
My heart gently answers back; I just do.

What good does it do? Says my skeptic head. You can plainly see the agony she's in. You of all should know, feel it. Aren't you the closest to her? Don't you feel her pain? The tears? Aren't you broken? Says the head to the heart.

Yes, but my dear friend, he loves her, my heart says to my head.

But how do you know? You heard what he's told her! You of all should know the most, feel the most! My head vehemently says. Did you not listen to his words?
