Do any of you have an explanation for this?

Without going into too much detail, I've been dating this guy for a few months. We were at an event with a bunch of other people in the room. Towards the end of the night he pulled me close to him and we started holding and caressing each other. As this happened, I noticed everything else, except for him and I, slowly started becoming more fuzzy and grainy. Eventually, the entire room around us and all the people in it turned to blackness. Even the sounds in the room were gone. Only me and him were left in my reality.

Afterward I was pretty perplexed about this, but figured it was some type of trick of my mind and didn't think much else of it. The next day, however, we were talking about the night and what he said completely shocked me. He told me, without me saying anything first, the exact same situation happened to him at the exact same time. The surroundings started turning grainy and then faded into nothing and all he could see was me. Nothing else was there.

The fact that we both shared the same experience without knowing it is baffling to me. I literally have no idea what it could mean or what exactly happened. Do you guys have any idea?

Yes, that’s very normal between TFs. A lot of us TFs report similar experiences. But these seem to vary from couple to couple. In my case, my TF and I spoke to each other in a weird unknown (ancient ?) language during our sleep. We had entire conversations in that tongue. My one good friend who also has a tf (they are in union) used to see a full holographic, glowing image of her tf in her apartment while they were in separation. Another good friend has experienced full blown kundalini several times. There’s a couple on YouTube, Lee and Sherry Patterson, who describe something very similar to what you just described. I could go on but I think you get the point. Welcome to your new normal!

Some people describe the eye lock phenomenon.

Yes my TF and I often just sit and stare at each other in the eyes. This can be for minutes up to an hour. We always feel light headed after and playfully chide each other for being "that couple".

That's one of the sensations I miss most about sharing physical space with my TF. We would frequently look into each other's eyes and the rest of the world would disappear. The rest of the world wouldn't go dark for us, but it would get blurry. The first time it happened, I knew it happened to both of us because my TF's jaw just dropped, which was not a normal occurrence.

He told me more tonight. He said we left this dimension and we were just light beings. He said he could see me but not as I am now, just as light, but he could still see me. I personally didn't get that sensation, but I did notice we almost had a spotlight on us and we were bright compared to the rest of the space around us, but I had assumed it was just an illusion for me. Crazy.
