Controlling my dreams
I can control my dreams sometimes, but only very late in the mornings when I'm about to wake up. I guess it's like my waking mind realising what is going on, so I realise I'm dreaming, and I make things happen. It's fun but sometimes it's random. It never lasts long because I wake up.
Anyone else have this happen too?

This is what people call "lucid dreams", there's something even greater than this, an out of body experience, where you leave your physical body and explore different realms of existence, you may even just stay in your mental plane, where your own dreams occur.

I agree with "ThatMan" above.
Your best bet is to have a plan: When you know you are having a lucid dream then execute you plan, such as:
I want to meet my spirit guides
I want to bring comfort to so-and-so who is going through some hard times.
I want to explore my purpose in this lifetime.

Start writing a dream journal, if you enjoy lucid dreaming there is alot of techniques for you to try out. Seems like you can do it naturally sometimes already.
