So I wanted to start this thread to ask exactly what each of you think or define meditation as. staring blankly at the thread titles populating this section of the forum, the phrase for my title came to mind because it's so awing the experiences someone can have from simply stopping and just being, or whatever precisely meditation is or involves.. it's kind of an enigma to me so that is why I write this thread, but from what I understand it is basically just the unraveling of everything else and just immersing oneself in presence or existence in the universe.
what would you say your definition or explanation would be, now or also in the past before you were more experienced? and please share any interesting information or insight if you feel compelled to do so, thank you
