"Out of body" is an archaic term that really has no realistic application for astral projection IMO. Our "astral" body is never inside of our physical body to begin with. They are parallel bodies existing outright in completely different dimensions. It's like trying to say my car is parked in a parking lot in Florida but it's also in California as well. The only thing that ever leaves our physical body through dreaming and astral projection is our consciousness, and in the act of doing so it is leaving one body and going into another. When a person dreams or astral projects their consciousness is in a body, it might be a different body but since it is in a body the term "out of body" really has no application. |
