are black eyed children real or an urban lehend?

So I have read stories of people encountering spooky entities from about 4 to 14 years old that supposovely knock on peoples doors and car doors asking them if they can come in to make a phone call because they are lost and their mother is worried about them, or need a ride because they ran out of gas or something. They come im twos and their entire eye is pitch black. People who encounter them experience intense fear from their presence, so they deny them. They try a few more times, seeming annoyed, and even stare at them from the street. You can google the stories. I never read a story if anyonehas ever let them in. Some people think they are sinister even alien-human hybrids. I know it sounds silly, but does anyone know of them or if this is just a myth? The stories really creeped me out and I do not scare easoly. Sorry for the typos.

It's probably a myth, but I've heard of them.

I wouldn't let them in either to be honest. I've also heard that they were some kind of hybrid, but I'm not to sure about that.
