((In your opinion)) What are the best headphones to use while you meditate?

I love to listen to certain frequencies while I meditate and I believe most headphones alter the quality of the music thus limiting the healing affects. Which headphone do you recommend either in or over the ear to give me pure sound without any altering what so ever?

I use two types:

In Ear for when I am on/in bed.
Over The Ear for when I'm in a chair.

Studio headphones will give you the most neutral reproduction but I don't think it's worth getting anything fancy or expensive as I've found this has no effect on the outcome.

I'm am also a music enthusiast so I totally understand your question. I'd advise you to be more concerned about sound isolation rather than frequencies. Many times at my development circle we listen to music from a mobile phone without any problems.

I agree, I have found that using music or guided meditation gives a different experience.

I use Panasonic RP-HTF600-S for meditations. It is especially good for binaural beats, because they are over-ear, not on-ear. So it gives a more dynamic sound and thus a more centered sound. I recommend them for the guided meditations and tones or binaural beats.
