UFO Sighting During World War 2
During World War 2, Ensign Rolan D. Powell was a US Navy pilot flying Grumman F6F Hellcats on board the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown during the Battle of Leyte Gulf. In his book "Alien Base," Timothy Good writes, "In the summer of 1945, while based at the US Naval Air Station, Pasco, Washington, Powell and 5 other Hellcat pilots were scrambled to intercept an unknown flying craft "the SIZE OF THREE AIRCRAFT CARRIERS SIDE BY SIDE" hovering at high altitude above the top-secret plutonium production facility for the world's first nuclear bombs at Hanford."
