Vegan help
So, I have been basically on a plant base diet for 2 months. I eat local grown honey because I can LOL. Another than that, No milk, cheese, fish, the list goes on and on. I eat what resonates with me, NOT what someone says is proper vegan or whatever. I been going strong but I know I am missing some things in my diet.
SO my question is if there is any good nutrition supplements that are up to vegan quota. And maybe just general vegan food choices that are good for the diet. I literally one day said, "no more" and went on a plant base diet with no research or anything. I eat a lot of fruits, veggies, nuts, almond milk, rice, pasta, but I am kinda getting bored. I am a good cook that can make just about anything turn from water into wine! I may grab something to eat and do some more research!
PEACE

I was wondering if you have tried nutritional yeast?? It is VERY good for you! It is a cheese substitute (vegan of course), but does not taste anything like chesse to me, it is better, doesn't make me sick. You can make gravy, mac-n-cheese, all sorts of good stuff and like I say, is very good for you too!!! It grows on molasses.

I have some, it's great stuff. You can also buy some with B12, which all vegans need in their diet.

Myth. Myth that just won't go away.
While it's true that everyone needs B12, not just vegans, B12 deficiency is exceedingly rare and is nearly always due to malabsorption. Some people, vegan or not, may need B12 supplementation, but it's an individual issue, not a global one for vegans.

Hiya ....
Technically Everly, the human body can make b12 via gut function and bacteria. If you consume plenty of prebiotics/fibres in vegan food! This may prevent a deficiency.
Everyone is deficiency in something these days.

I am well aware of that, Mind Power. I've been vegan for almost 25 years and have researched the B12 issue far more than I care to think about. My point -- my only point -- was that B12 supplementation is not something people need because they're vegan. They may need B12, but it's not because of being vegan.
