I have also gotten to this point, that i don't attach to labels and concepts.

And take everything with a grain of salt.

Who rightly knows anything? It is easy though to be mislead isn't it.

I generally think people pay too much attention and make too much effort and affected by labels and concepts.

Consumed in a sense.

But isn't that the whole point.

IE:Leading one up the garden path through many roads to find 'something'.

Something i mean 'tangible'.

Yet attaching.

The way i see it,people are mislead by label and concepts, attaching someone elses experience/s that is not there own.

And haven't taken into the account as well, the 'capitalist system'.

I agree almost entirely.

This 'labelling' blocks our view.

When we see a tree we stop looking simply because we know what it is. Were we to enquire further from someone who has a finer knowledge of labels we'd learn that the 'tree' (an explanation in itself, based upon our own experience) is an oak tree, a piece of information that suddenly exposes a whole world of which we have no idea - because not accepting the collective description used in the environment in which we live would put us on the outside.

We don't LOOK, we accept everything as part of the world we 'inhabit'. Interestingly the world around us we are 'in the habit of'. Clearly there are things which we don't label - simply because either we don't know/see they are there or we assume it/them to be already labelled - and we only have to ask!

There are 8 billion people on this planet and everyone sees it as it is.

I love labels.
I love oak trees.
I love studying the spirit behind labels, concept and oak trees.
The intent, the real root cause of a thing or concept.

The yew tree. That has become one of my favorite trees.
Loggers for years discarded it as a scrap or trash tree
not worthy to be harvested and used.So as long as
they/loggers have been harvesting trees the yew was wasted.
Thrown aside as worthless. But the yew has many surprises
to unfold to those that seek out the knowledge and
wisdom of that tree. When you see it for the first time
it is not to impressive by sight. It does not make you go WOW.
It's wisdom and worth comes from spending time with it or if your lucky them.
A good 2 weeks just being under the tree or trees
is a decent amount of time to start to get to know a Yew.
So know when I stumble upon the mighty yew I just must stop for a visit.
They are remarkable and wise.

Some might say that these references to the capitalist system are just more labels and concepts.

The simple fact that you are online having this discussion suggests that you are in some way participating in the capitalist system, which presumably includes your internet provider.

I have no problems with the capitalist system because it does not touch what I am. Maybe this is a greater freedom than trying to turn your back on the capitalist system while still participating in it every time you go out shopping.

Peace.

Thich Nhat Hanh talks a lot about this.

I agree. There is something nice, and I believe wise, in reflecting, seeing deeper and through concepts fed to us, but I don't buy that we are beings who are now ignoring all concepts/labels.

On another note:

O-U-T spells out goes he

Right in the middle of the deep blue sea.

You might be able to relate to the great 'Oak Tree'.

I though am still joining the dots, you see.

You don't seem to get it.
All words are labels. They're symbols for concepts, actions, how they relate and where and when they are.

Lorelyen,

I do get it and i'll be blunt,you don't.

No need for negativity right,so why the attitude?

Look within.

I'm way past spiritual types that haven't dealt with there own past life pain.
