At last I saw Prometheus for the first time and I was very impressed.I found it rather like a 'thinking man's Alien'.I enjoyed the idea that we were genetically engineered by an alien race (not a new theory I know),but the film kept me guessing and I like films that make you think.
I'm assuming the tentacly thing that came out of the sludge was the fore-runner of the creatures from the Alien series.
Anyway,much enjoyed and will look forward to any sequel that is made.

I suspect that Prometheus is actually a decent film which was overhyped and had too much to live up to hence the negative backlash. Once the furor has died down people will be able to see it for what it is.

I agree totally Honza,sometimes a product/film can be so over-hyped that it can only ever be disappointing by default. |
