What's the exact difference between an archangel and a guardian angel?

I am not an angel expert but from what I have gathered from my research is; AA tend to be like supervisor angels they're reposiblity is greater, queen bees per se and the guardian angels are like worker angels, like worker bees. They all work together in the scheme of things and there are the leaders, AA and followers, guardian angels. At least that is my take on it, maybe overly simplified but it works for me.

The guardians are no angels, the archs can but don't have to be.

A Guardian Angel is an Angel that is assigned to you before birth and will stay with you for all of your human existence and leave with you when you pass. An ArchAngel is a higher ranking Angel that has a strong connection to the Earth realm, they are not high order Angels in the scheme of Angels so I am led to believe. They can come and go and help everyone, where a guardian Angel is yours only. However, in saying that, ArchAngels can be with you as more of an Advisor than a Guardian Angel, if you have an ArchAngel as an Advisor, you will still have a guardian Angel as well.
