All a matter of perspective.

This is another example of absolute truth. It is absolutely true that the cylinder casts various shapes of shadows depending on where the light source is.

Except still .. no ...
There is a spectrum of light ranging from things we can see - to things our eyes are not built to observe.
From a human perspective the statement seems accurate but what are we not seeing.
Via wikipedia:
The near infrared (NIR) window lies just out of the human vision, as well as the Medium Wavelength IR (MWIR) window, and the Long Wavelength or Far Infrared (LWIR or FIR) window, although other animals may experience them.
So the perspective/point of view posters are closer to the truth & the statement is not absolute truth.
There is more going on in the situation & thus more to describe if you had the complete tool set.
It is fine to not know everything.

It is interesting for answers in the affirmative are at least consistent whereas an answer in the negative is self-contradicting.

The truth is that the shadows are not the truth.

What Vince is calling an 'absolute truth' here is what is properly called a 'truth statement' or even a 'true proposition'.

You can see the breadcrumbs in the set up & where it supposedly leads.
The big "and so therefore God exists because he is absolute truth" ..
Funny that I don't need to prove birds or waters existence yet God, for some reason needs semantics & slight of hand before he can be "seen".

And the truth is relative to one's own agenda.
