When I had my 'experience' it was driving back from a kayak fishing trip north of Saranac Lake, past Paul Smiths and before Malone.

I was in CNY from 2008-2013. Baldwinsville outside Syracuse.

Yup, I know Camillus. I was a member of the Camillus Sportsmen's Club and I met the daughter of one of the club officers through a support site called Daily Strength. She gave me a complimentary reiki session at her office in Liverpool. She liked my energy. LOL!

Yup, about 45 miles north of Saratoga.

Far Rockaway... Lived a couple blocks from Jamaica Bay and maybe two miles from the Atlantic. I was a Bay Rat and a Beach Bum in my youth. LOL!

Just a thought but have you ever looked into Reiki? That might be a way to actualize your desire, at least as a starting point instead of waiting for something spontaneous to happen. That is it's direct action you can take.

Not really, it does not feel right to use some kind of techniques and things like that.

Last night I experienced a new thing, I started to see these profound colors while I was meditating, in fact, I saw only one color, this violet color, it was very vivid and beautiful.

And I ( so to say ) did it again, I was experiencing this inner turmoil that I usually experience from time to time, I was thinking to watch a movie just to pass time, but then I said to myself that I should just meditate, few moments later, I started to see that violet color, then I started to fall asleep, it happened once, twice, then when I became aware of this, the inner turmoil was no more "inside me", it disappeared completely, and I was left with this deep and refreshing peace that I rarely experience in daily life... It was so profound that... I dare to say that this one of the best moments of my entire life, I loved to be in that peace and to be that peace, when I think now about it, I feel like smiling.

I am grateful for this unique experiences that are given to me from the Creator

Back in 2011 I met this lady in an online support forum. She practiced Reiki and lived nearby and offered to give me a complimentary session.

It was a neat experience. She played this soft drumming music and lit a stick of incense. I was lying on my back on what was basically like an examination table one finds at a doctor's office.

She started at my head, working down my body, her hands maybe an inch or so away from my skin. When she got down to my right knee she asked what's going on down there. I was stunned because I had arthroscopic surgery for torn cartilage back in 1986.

She also has a contract with the VA, offering sessions to military personnel, some suffering PTSD.

Regarding colors... Sometimes I have an experience of what looks like purple smoke rings starting at the edge of my 'vision' and rapidly moving away and shrinking to a pinpoint. It's accompanied by a feeling of being pulled down a tunnel? Sometimes it turns into the experience I related in another post as falling or accelerating but in 360 degrees simultaneously.

Very, very soothing and calming so I can definitely relate to what you're saying.

Ah, the violet color.
Keep focusing at the 3rd eye area... There is that and so much more.

Very happy for you...and it quiets the mind cuz it gives it something
to focus on. Yay.
