IMO, everyone's soul vibrates at a certain rate, and it's natural for people to be attracted to others with similar rates. And the vast majority of people who pass over encounter an afterlife that's very different from what they had expected. That's why there are Spirit Guides whose duty is to greet newcomers and help them get oriented. I know this from experience because I have lots of memories of doing this between lives.

Obviously, these planes attract entities with vibrational frequencies that correspond to them.

Just work on yourself, and ensure that you are spiritually fit and strong, and you will automatically lift the spirits of those around you as well for the better by virtue of influence and company. And this will qualify you and your loved ones for the higher planes.
