I went to my first pagan ritual yesterday which was led by a couple devoted to the Morrigan. It was lovely and followed a different format than what I know which comes from my entering through Wicca a few years ago. I am not personally devoted to the Morrigan so it was definitely a new experience, but I did feel a release of negativity that I needed. I will admit I felt a little out of place since everyone at the gathering the ritual was held at had to be at least ten years older than me minus the one toddler playing in the field with poi balls. I'm just the wee baby witch I suppose with quite a bit to learn and explore since I've been entirely solitary for 5 years.
Also my boyfriend was very curious about what I do and believe and wanted to come with me so I let him. Afterwards he told me something felt right about it and he had a visual experience during the ritual.
I was wondering if anyone else had an interesting first ritual or circle or group experience they'd be willing to share?
