There is GOD and there are GODs.
There is one cause/creator that started all, the multiverse.
Then there are GODs that came after, as the results of the original creation by the GOD.
We, humans are created by such sub-GODs. - NOT by the GOD, the orgin.
We, humans are also sub-GODs ourselves since we also create. We genetically modify, selective breeding, and etc. to create new species.

If one is identified with the movie - then a conditional yes or so it seems;
then again if it was "all" just a movie then we would be S.O.L..
