Sleep

Does anyone have any advice or specific techniques on how you relax your body and mind before you go to sleep? Sometimes In the past I've done an awareness meditation from my toes and work my way up to my head. It's usually effective, as I'd normally only make it half way up. But I often forget to do the exercise, and I'm looking for something a bit easier than meditation since I don't want to associate my bed with mediation.

Self-hypnosis.

Hi Humanbeing I would suggest a warm bath with using some essential oils such as lavender in your bath ( providing you like the smell ), you can add a few drops on your pillow too, I would also suggest not going on your phone/laptop before bed as this will help you relax and you could play some relaxing music.

I hope this helps .

Love GA x

There are acupressure points in the wrists.

On the outside of each hand...about an inch up the arm from the "heel" of the palm (or wrist bone) It's a spot in between two wrist tendons
I once had trouble sleeping (year 2000) and used to tape on a small button with a shank on it with the shank facing inwards, and sleep in that. It worked very well, and even better than taking relaxing herbs!

There's a little info. here:
