Ethics About Buying Crystals

Hello all! I have just recently developed a heavy interest in crystals and gemstones. As I'm shopping around though I had some ethical questions pop up and I'm not sure what to think. I can feel the energy of crystals when I view a photo of them and even connect in heart to the crystal. I thought though to myself, "What if somebody has already purchased the crystal photographed?" So my question is would you feel it is ethical to connect with an image of a crystal online or even feel its energy with intent if I planned on purchasing a crystal or one like it? What if I just wanted to get a feel for the crystal type? What are your thoughts?

Dear Tridek,
IMO, someone's connection with an image of crystal is week and lasting only for a short time. It won't affect crystal's energies if you get one, clean and make your own personal connection. No reason to be concerned about that.

When you are shopping for crystals you need to know you will be able to make a connection. Being able to feel some of the stones energy, even from a photograph is the best way to do that, and should not do any lasting harm, as long as you do not become possessive. Even if the Piece you are looking at is purchased by someone else it should give you and idea of what to look for.
