Spirit Guide?

One night a couple years back, I was in bed trying to fall asleep and I felt like I was in a state of mind that felt like I was half asleep and half awake (if that makes any sense whatsoever), almost like I was in a trance. I felt like I was going deeper and deeper into this trance when I suddenly hear something inside of my head say, "Go back". Crazy I know, but I heard it clear as day and it was a female voice. The moment I heard those words I instantly snapped out of whatever I was in and warped back to reality. It was the weirdest thing I've ever experienced in my whole entire life and oddly, I wasn't afraid when I heard it too. I was left with the feeling of calmness and at the same thinking to myself like what the hell was that all about lol. I haven't had an experience like that since other than a couple times where I would go through the beginning stages of astral projection like feeling my body lifting off of my bed, but it never went any further than that because I would always freak out and wake up. Could this had been my spirit guide? Perhaps I wasn't ready to be in that state of mind and my spirit guide was probably thinking like, "guurl you need to back up right now." 😂
