Sad1403, Maid of the Mist boat ride is also one of my favorite activity there. it is the major thing in Niagara Falls. I enjoyed it many of the times and will say it is best for the fun. In my next post, I will share some images of this ride. I hope all of you will like them.

I am happy to go in bus tour to Virginia Beach

I went to Niagara Falls last weekend. It's a bit (okay, a lot a bit) too commercialized for me. My family was laughing because I was taking pictures of people taking pictures with those selfie sticks. The pictures are hysterical. Anyway, we went over to the Canadian side which is prettier, I think and cleaner...Walked around the nearby town and it was insane...a tourist trap. It's all well and good but I prefer scenic places without crowds.

Hi Tabee, I just found out today that the lower gorge section of Taughannock is closed for a time to clean up debris (fallen trees, rocks)...probably general maintenance. They've been doing work on the trails for over a year now. The top rim trails are still open but the bottom gorge trail to the falls is not. I go in the mornings to run to avoid crowds.

It is a beautiful place to visit, though the Canadian side is a better view of the Falls, it is now so commercialized. I really like your photos.

Anybody had explored new work in his life?

I live in New York, grew up in Queens, and presently reside on Long Island.
However, I have been to Manhattan and also upstate NY

Did you "feel" it when you were in Manhattan?
