Its in a picture filled with 10,000 other things as well. removing the "things" in the picture allows us to experience the mystery. The ego is just another manufactured thing. |

There's nothing in Chapter One about 'ego'.. it is a projection of your attachment to its contrived meaning.. which is what Chapter One is referring to, the inclination of the mind to see the Great Mystery actually unfolding as Life, and to choose the description over the happening, to favor the menu over the meal..

It's just that the the reflection in the mirror isn't actually the thing being reflected.
Not that that has much to do with the first chapter, except if you take pz's version.
