It's autumn where I am now, the most wonderful time of the year for smells. Damp ripe leaves and the scent of late blooms on the clean blustery air. Deep earthy scents from the rain soaked woods. Even the smell of fresh wind from my coat when I come home after a walk gives me such a sense of happiness. In a few weeks, turf will be on the fire, wafting out plumes of sensory mystery. Smell is such a wonderful gateway to pure joy  |

Oh Jom! The scent of earth and foliage after rain is just one of the most wonderful smells ever!
Walking in a pine woods on a warm day or on a summer's day after rain ---wow!

I was out last night, noting the crescent moon and Orion over the horizon. There was a shooting star under him.
It has been raining alot here and the aromas were incredible.
