Perhaps the core of Buddhism is simply - realization. Realizing own emotion , realizing the cause of own existence - the emotion , realizing Buddhism is the natural process back into original state of nothingness ....

Buddha did not teach those "rules".
I understand though there are more than 2500 sects of Buddha teaching some of which changed or westernized their teachings greatly.
If someone wishes to learn about the "CORE Buddha" teaching they might
consider studying 1 or more versions/translations (simple or more complex) of the Dharmmapada, which are the 423 teachings of Buddha.

Buddha directly taught the Four Noble Truths, Eightfold Path, Five Precepts, Three Kinds of Suffering, Five Hindrances and almost all of above. I would have to check exactly for precise references.
