Although I still like Kalispell in USA and Kalimna, which means beautiful, in Australia.....
But according to the Shakti Sangam Tantra, the goddess Kali and the demon Kali have a similar letter vibration...
Whatever.... Mayamala does not affect everyone...For example, vijnanakalas possess only anavamala.... practice of advaita-vedanta leads to this lower level of turiya...
vijnanakala are separated from the objects and lack the power of action....

There are also two types of pralayakalas:
1) apavedyasausupta - identification with emptiness, sunyapramatr
2) savedyasausupta - identification with prana, pranapramatr

Yogachara and Shunyavada - lead to apavedyasausupta...
Kaivalya and apavarga, in saṃkhya-yoga Patanjali, Nyaya-Vaisheshiki ... lead to savedyasausupta...
In the first case, Mayamala is also absent...

But we are humans in Sakala....Possess all three malas (anava, maya, karma)...
This is a central position, the middle world..Yeah....
Therefore, we observe the form of letters while reading the Vedas....But they do not have that "form"....same with all alphabets...A, B, С, D....
vijnanakalas and sunyapramatras do not observe this form at their levels....well.....they do not have maya to do soo....but letters still exist....
Mayamala Illuminates and сreates form....
the material basis of creation is bindu and mayamala.....in any case, these are fetters....
in Shaiva Siddhanta there are 5 of them: Mala, Tirodhanasakti, Mahamaya, Maya and Karma...in Shaiva Siddhanta four of them are unconscious (acit, inert).....except Tirodhanasakti,

@And this pasa is of five kinds — anava, tirodhayi, bindu, maya and karma. Of these, four categories are inert by nature. Tirodhayi is,, however, of the nature of intelligence@
@ The Saivaparibhasa-1982
good book: https://archive.org/details/TheSaivaparibhasa_1982

Mala is synonym for anava and Mahamaya is also called bindu....Yeah...
mayamala is associated with jnana-shakti in virashivaism and anavamala with iccha shakti....

From the book Principles of Virasaivism:

"Mahamaya – ‘Bindu’ is the other name of Mahamaya. This is the third Pasa. Bindu is not merely a Pasa but also the material cause of pure creation."

@1. Anavamala – The contraction of the Icchasakti of Parasiva is itself Aтavamala. It is due to the cover of this Mala that the Jïva forgets his ‘pervasiveness’ (vibhutva) and considers himself as atomic in size
thinking ‘I am incomplete’ (apùrna)
......
2. Mayiyamala – The contracted Jnanasakti of Parasiva is itself Mayïyamala. The most extensive knowledge of Parasiva, being contracted, becomes the
cause for bondage.
......
3. Karmamala – The contracted Kriyasakti of Parasiva is itself the Karmamala.
........

Priestess you seem most knowledgeable, i'm curious what traditions of 'divine love' exist in the Hindu path and also what view there is on love itself a ultimate realisation and form of worship

My picture of Maya has vanished. How true to her nature.

Yes and no.
It is just your perspective
