i'm fond of you
Yaoughta, and i appreciate your not taking offense
to my words... and in adding thoughts of your own as well.
i don't believe that what i'd said was "a belief, a feeling, or an opinion";
it's logically true in my estimation. here's what i'd meant:
if we can imagine that there was zero truth existent in any (available)
universe, then all would be "false", and provide no basis for reality to be
built upon. there would be nothing at all. consequently, truth DOES exist,
somewhere, someplace, and we don't need to "establish" it.
[perhaps just "find" it.]
on the other hand, if we can imagine that there would be a zone where
truth did not exist (fully?), then we might also imagine that "agents of
truth" could be sent into such a zone so as to bring truth there in full.
in this way, truth could be "established" in that area, by those agents.
i submit that souls who travel through the veil of forgetfulness into
uncharted landscapes could qualify as such "agents of truth", and that
humanity could qualify as being such agents. the entire process could
be understood as "growth" for what is already complete and whole.
and with that imagining completed, i'm willing to
accept what is and
let go of what isn't.
