My gf keeps throwing up
Hello all, my girlfriend has had nausea, mostly in the mornings, consistently for the past few months. No she is not pregnant, we’re a lesbian couple lol.
She’s been to the ER and they did basic blood work and urinalysis but nothing came of it. They told her it was from smoking weed despite the fact that she uses it as medicine, it works, and she told them that.
I was wondering what another remedy she could take before work (she starts at 6am) would be. Thank you !

Hello there Peach.
So sorry to hear of your GF's troubles.
1) First, what is the underlying cause? What is it she is taking weed for as medicine?
2) Is it medicinal cannabis with no THC, or very little)? Or is it medicinal cannabis with THC?
3) Does she take or consume anything that might react or combine with cannabis?
3) I'm sorry to say, but a small % of folks develop persistent nausea as a reaction to cannabis. I can say more after you reply.
Peace & blessings

@Peachboi....I am guessing your girlfriend might have tried remedies?
But Ginger Root is marvellous for nausea and vomiting. Has she tried that?
Chewing a thin (1/4") slice of fresh Ginger root, and/or mixing it with a little honey (for low blood sugar first thing in the morning) might be useful?
Or making a tea with Ginger root the night before, and sipping that cold after waking?

I would try making tea with ginger root drink 3 cups a day for a week and see if helps keep drinking 🙂

I would suggest ginger root also if it's from nausea or indigestion. Some people get sick from heartburn or acid reflux though, and in that case ginger may not be the best...(licorice root or digestive enzymes?). I'm not an herbalist, by the way so please don't take this as professional medical advice.
