New to wicca and need help and direction.

I will admit I havent the slightest on what i am doing except based on a book called "Wicca for beginners". And decided to try pathwork for the first time. I must admit i was pretty scared, and dumb for trying with out completly understanding what I was doing. I vaguely wrote down what images I saw. I dont know what to make of it. If it is anything at all. I am not looking for anything specific. Nor am i looking for death predictions. But this is what i wrote in my journal.... " Grounded. Put myself into a trance then went to the woods a tunel opened up with a road. I followed it. And saw a bunch of images. Someone being buried, a cat with red eyes hissing at me. A statue of a woman mourning with her arms opened and palms up bleeding from the palms. I dared not try and touch anything. This was my first try. I came back through same tunnel and woke up and grounded again." can someone please help me or point me in a good direction.

I got so caught up in what i was trying to write down that I realized I never really asked for anything. Lol my appologies. What I need help with exactly or direction. Should someone like me who has no idea what they are doing. Find a mentor? Or a coven? Was the images I saw just random? With no particular ryhme or reason?... Should I ponder and meditate on them more? Just all around lost and could use some great advice. I am reading pleanty. The quality of the books I dont know. Wicca for beginners seemed like a good book. So now that i have actual questions that I would like answers to, I hope to hear from you guys

Go with your intuition there is not a real need to join a coven or find a teacher go with what feels right for you
with the internet these days do your own research take some of the visions from your vision and follow where they lead you will find your search will go of in many directions just be open and trust what you discover good luck and remember Intuition love and light to you

Reach out to some Wicca forums. Poke around and read, read, read. Ask questions, don't buy books, get them from the library, that way if thy are not for you, you're not out any money. Check your local metaphysical shops and ask around if there are any groups that meet, this would give you more insight into which direction you want to go and if you feel the need for a coven or just be solitare.
When I got into witchcraft, I looked over everything but in the end became a solitare who picked things from different ways but found candles worked for me and what I wanted out of it.
