Universe

I feel like the Universe is mad or angry. There's a lot of people around me that are feeling this to, I think. I live in New york; it is 55 degrees; it should be cold. I feel so much energy going through me, like rage, or confusion. I just feel like helping everyone... I was telling my friend I feel like so irritable and that is unlike me. Has anyone felt this way? Does weather, other things, feelings, and emotions have a purpose in spiritual development?

I doubt the universe or even Earth is 'angry'. What you describe are more the feelings resulting from disregard and disconnection.

There are many frequencies going on at the moment and we each are adapting in our own way.
Weather abnormalities are the norm now and also for years to come..how ever things used to be is gone. Embrace the changes if you can.

Go to the nearest restaurant with a walk-in cooler and offer to pay them 20 bucks to let you sit in it for an hour. Tell them you lost a bet or something so they don't call the nut squad. See how you feel afterward and while inside you can look around at what might be bothering you.

Good point. I've been practicing being a witness to my life. But sometimes I can get overwhelmed.

The feelings you feel may come from, to me at least, it seems the incarnates on earth are like young children. Children get angry and rage over things they seldom need to get angry or rage over, or they are the cause of it themselves.

I used to feel angry a lot, i was trying to find a reason outside of me and then i found out that the cause was within..

When i started looking within then i could find the reasons of this anger, when you start cleansing your mind and body from this anger and other accumulated emotions, whatever way you find to do so (yoga, meditation, prayer, sport) then you will realize whatever you see comes from your own mind, so that's what you should take care of.

If I wanna drink i ask myself what am i not satisfy with? what am i trying to bury or run away from by drinking? why am I angry deeply within? since when am I angry and for what reasons? family, couple, friends, work...

and then you can start working on this once you get in touch with the emotion, If you have a lot of anger, first express it find a way to take it out

knowing that there is anger and irritation is great it means you already know it because you're not so trapped into it, so you can start taking it out,

sometimes i do this way:
take out the mind image of my angry self to talk with this self, and ask him why are you angry?

There is also a great meditation practice called Tonglen

Inhale the anger of this self, transform it into light within your heart and exhale light of healing love and compassion to this image of the self, do it until you feel the anger and irritation start disappearing.

there are many ways to cleanse the emotions, find the right one for you ;-)

Enjoy
Peace

Book1 Changing Ones Perspective

How to change ones perspective.

Kevins ice-cooler is one way.

Proper nutritional or hormonal balance may be another.

For me, what has worked the best for changing my perspective and really appreciating how specicall it is to be alive, was to have a relative bad flu, that takes you way down--- lower energies-off ---for abput 5 days.

I remmember my first day coming out of that, I was driving very mellow to get some materials for a project and being just so damne appreciative of just being alive i.e. i.e. my energy was coming back-on.

I've had maybe three severe flu's in my life.

Two bad allegeric reactions.

Two bad food posionings.

It is good to be alive. imho
